Word of Life Churches in Bangladesh (South Asia), now affiliated with Free Will Baptists, plans to build a six-story Conference Center with sleeping accommodations for up to 200 people. The Center will be used for multiple activities, such as:
- shelter and healing for believers who have undergone attacks for their faith (persecution),
- ongoing training of church planters,
- women’s, men’s, children’s, and various other conferences, events, and retreats,
- work area for Bible translation teams – translating the Bible into local languages
- recording studio for producing audio of newly translated Bible portions.
Phase one of this project will include acquiring land and building the ground floor of the building. The estimated cost is $175,000 for this phase.
IMPact Project goal for phase 1 is $165,000.
