Approved as a missionary intern to Tokyo, Japan, in December 2019, Annabelle is seeking prayer and financial partners for her two-year internship. She plans to work with the Hope Alive team headed by Heath and Joni Hubbard, where her focus will be ministering to reach young adults, as well as outreach efforts and leading Bible studies.
Born into a Christian home, Annabelle accepted Christ as Savior as a young child. In 2014, the Lord began to cultivate a desire towards missions through her pastor’s sermon on the Great Commission on Easter Sunday, and while participating in E-TEAM.
Over the past ten years, Annabelle has served in her home church in various capacities. During high school, she participated in ETEAMs Jaboticabal, Brazil, and Hokkaido, Japan. After returning from Japan in 2016, Annabelle couldn’t deny that she had to do something to reach the Japanese people but didn’t know how or when. The Lord provided for her to return to Japan in 2018, and that summer, she spent two weeks with missionary Shannon Little in Tokyo. That experience led to serving as an overseas apprentice with Heath and Joni Hubbard and the Hope Alive team through IM’s College Missions Program (CMP) in 2019. Through this, the Lord affirmed His leading her toward serving full-time in Japan, and she immediately applied for a two-year internship.
Annabelle attended Welch College during her freshman year and graduated from Austin Peay State University with a Bachelor of Science in Social Work in May of 2020.
