Hearts Made New
Taihei Chapel is one of our newer Hokkaido church plants. It’s co-pastored by a father and son, and lately it’s been hard for them to see any growth.
As a form of outreach the pastor’s wife, Eiko, teaches English. This summer, Miriam’s brother Daniel came and was able to step in for her and teach these classes during his time here. In the past, there have been other summer interns who have also had the chance to do this.
(If this is something you’re interested in, for a summer or for a year, you can apply here).
Twice a year a Korean CRU group comes and does outreach around Sapporo. They always have a Korea Night where they give testimonies, cook Korean food, and showcase some cultural activities.
In January during the Korea Night held at Taihei Chapel THREE of Eiko’s English students made a decision to accept Christ. Please pray for them as they begin studying the Bible with Pastor Seichi. Because you give, life has changed forever for these three students. Thank you for partnering with us to share Christ in Japan!
Reaching farther together,
Doug & Miriam Bishop
