Alliance of FWB Churches Meets in Brazil

Kenneth and Rejane Eagleton

Rejane and I participated in a retreat/association meeting of the Alliance of FWB churches in Brazil, from September 4-7 . The meeting took place on a farm in the state of Minas Gerais that is equipped to received groups. It took us 9 hours to get there. Several of the other participants traveled about 400 miles to be there. Thirteen churches are represented in the Alliance.
The delegation from Jaboticabal had a wreck on the way over. No one was seriously injured beyond scrapes and aches. We praise the Lord that a near head-on collision turned out to be a high speed car swipe that pushed the vehicle off the road and tore off the back wheel. They were still able to make it to the meeting.
The meeting included times for preaching, worship, leisure, and discussion of the future of the Alliance in Brazil. Elections were held to select a new slate of officers who will be working for the next 2 years. Please pray for them. I was asked to develop a system to where we can make the courses that are offered at our Bible College in Campinas available to students in our other FWB churches. We hope to set up several satellite locations for the Bible College. Please pray for wisdom for this as well.
