Church-plant in Brazil Progressing Despite Pandemic

Kenneth and Rejane Eagleton

I have received an update from our church-planters in the state of Alagoas, Brazil, Clóvis and Cristina Leandro. They minister under a partnership between IM and FWB in Brazil to plant a church in a community with no evangelical church of any denomination.

They have had several saved and baptized. They currently are discipling some new converts (see the picture on the varanda of a house with a pink wall as an example of discipleship class) and have 3 sisters that are nearly ready for baptism. The pandemic has delayed the process.

We have been able to buy property for them to build a multi-purpose church building in the future, but for now, they are holding home services in different areas of the community. Here are some recent pictures.
