Easter weekend concert

Good News Chapel hosted a charity concert on Saturday afternoon during the Easter weekend. Money was raised for the ongoing work for the tsunami/earthquake stricken area in Northeast Japan that continues to strive in recovery from the March 11, 2011 disaster. Ruth was one of the featured artists and shared the Gospel story through her 3 songs and testimony. Special guests also included professional philharmonic symphony artists, performing with both the flute and harp. 37 attended attracting several for a first time visit to the church plant. $200 was raised for the relief work. The concerts continue to highlight the church ministry in the community and expand the number of contacts.
