Antioch, Tennessee—On Monday, March 11, IM’s General Director, Clint Morgan, will depart for India. He will join IM Director of Field Partnerships Kenneth Eagleton and Director of Mobilization Sam McVay to celebrate the 68th annual convention of the Free Will Baptist Society of India and Nepal.

Organizers anticipate between 9,000-10,000 people to travel, many on foot, to attend the event, March 14-17. Attendees “camp” all over the Sonapurhat compound throughout the entire event. This year, one of the primary focuses is celebrating Brother Carlisle Hanna for his 68 years of faithful service in that country.

“We have never had a missionary serve as long as Brother Carlisle Hanna,” stated General Director Morgan. “We are grateful to Brother Carlisle for his unwavering commitment to reaching the lost of India.  He will turn 89 this year and will continue ministering to the wonderful people of India as long as possible.”

Kenneth and Sam have been visiting some of IM’s partner organizations in other areas of India. They will stay on after the convention for several more days of visits with pastors and leaders in our Free Will Baptist works in North and South India.
