UNDER HIS WINGS

Thanks for your prayers for Alejandro as he traveled back to the States after the Christmas holidays in Spain. While there were very long lines and delays in the Madrid airport because of a snow storm, he was able to fly out and make his connecting flights to Nashville the following day.

Snow was still piled on streets and roads everywhere for almost two weeks, but it seems like Spain is slowly recovering from the storm. Many schools were damaged or were not been able to safely clear away the snow and ice.  So schools were closed for a week and a half. We’re thankful for safety as we’ve been running errands and taking care of things that needed to be done during this time. (Tim’s winter driving experience in Michigan has also been a nice help!)

After a six-month stateside assignment, we are thankful to have Anthony and Lea Edgmon back in Alpedrete. We were thrilled to have our first team meeting recently. We enjoyed catching up and working on plans for future ministry together. Unfortunately, that same evening Anthony started having fever and ended up going to the doctor the next morning, where he was diagnosed with COVID. So far his main symptoms are fever, body aches, and a general tiredness. We’re thankful that God has protected Lea and Marc until now, and we ask you to pray that Anthony will recover soon.

God’s protection has a wide wingspan! His wings are big enough to take care of our son as he flew over the ocean. They are wide enough to keep our car from sliding on the icy roads. And they are strong enough to keep symptoms from COVID to a minimum and protect those who are in close contact with the virus. There’s no better place to be than…UNDER HIS WINGS!
