We have so much to be thankful for!

Doug and Miriam Bishop

We arrived in Japan on Thanksgiving Day four years ago! This time of year is always very dear to us. Many of you have partnered with us over the years, and we want to say we are thankful for you!

Miriam just finished up her first six-week term at language school. She still has the best teacher this term, and she is making good progress. Every time she starts a new set of vocabulary she hears those words when she talks with people. Maybe she’s just more aware of these words, but we also think this is because so many are praying for her. God is good to give us encouragement when we need it!

It’s hard to believe that Christmas time is here! On December 8th we will host a college Christmas party at our house, and on the 10th Doug will help with the high school party at church. Pray that these events will give us an opportunity to share Christ with these students.

On December 23rd, Doug will speak at Koinonia Church’s Christmas party. Please pray for those who will attend!
