Brazil

  • Kenneth Eagleton – Praise the Lord for a wonderful meeting of the Aliance of FWB Churches in Brazil, at the beginning of April. They had a good number to attend from 12 different churches, one of the largest representations in recent years. Praise the Lord for six young people who were baptized at the FWB church in Brasília, the capital of the country.

Bulgaria

  • Tim & Lydia Awtrey – Please pray for two big outreach events we are planning. First, please pray for the documentation we need to be approved so that we can send medical supplies and food to the people in Mykolaiv, Ukraine. Also, we are meeting with the hospital staff to plan out a THP project this fall. Please pray that God would make a way and that people would see that we are the hands and feet of Jesus in Bulgaria.
  • Brenton & Debbie Driscoll – Pray for the Ukrainian refugees with whom we meet at the Community Center. May our conversation and actions point them toward Christ.
  • Josh Provow – Please pray for different ministries happening this week in Svishtov, including Alpha Course, Bible time in a local nursing home, an Easter party for Ukrainian children, online Bible study, English classes, men’s breakfast, and a youth group gathering.
  • Trif & Vanya Trifonov – Please pray for a good start of the Bulgarian Language Lessons and good response and feedback from the Ukrainians. Also, pray for the women’s gathering, as they meet to make Easter bread and have a discussion on the meaning of the resurrection of Christ. Thanks for praying!

Cuba

  • Kenneth Eagleton – Praise the Lord for a good youth leader workshop that was held at the beginning of the month in Havana. Pray that God would use these leaders in their local church to bring up a new generation of godly youth.

Ecuador

  • Adam & Carol Duncan – Thursday marks one month since our arrival to Quito, Ecuador. Continue to pray for our language learning, long-term visa process, and interactions with people we meet.

France

  • Steve & Becky Riggs – Our French churches will be meeting for a time of praise and fellowship on Easter Monday (the Monday following Easter is an official holiday in France). We will also be baptizing a woman who has been attending the Châteaubriand church for some time and desires to make a public profession of her faith in Christ.
  • David & Myriam Reeves – Please pray for David on Wednesday (April 13) as he takes the test to receive his French driver’s license. On Thursday he is having an important immigration meeting. Please pray everything goes according to plan. I (Myriam) am starting a book study on forgiveness with Manon; please pray that she will realize her need for God’s forgiveness in her life.

Ivory Coast

  • Kenneth Eagleton – Praise the Lord for the 530+ FWB women from all over Ivory Coast who met in Bondoukou for a three-day women’s retreat.

Japan

  • Doug & Miriam Bishop – Continue to pray for our certificate of eligibility to come quickly from Japan so we can get Hazel’s and Linus’ visas. Also, we are renewing Doug and Felix’s passports. Pray that all will arrive without issue.

Kenya

  • Eddy & Amanda Simmons – Please pray for rain in our area.  Please pray that our Resurrection Sunday Celebration will be a blessing to the local Samburu churches. We will gather in a central place with all of the Samburu believers who can come. We will partake of the Lord’s Supper and we will also ordain Francis Lekarkaraule to the pastorate. He is our main Samburu ministry leader and currently leads three worship gatherings.

Panama

  • Kenneth Eagleton – Several churches have designated April to be missions month in the local churches. Pray that these churches will be challenged to pray and give to missions.

Partnerships

  • Kenneth Eagleton – We partner with a group of churches in a country in South Asia that is sending workers into an area with a lot of religious fanaticism and where there are no churches and no believers. Please pray that they will be effective witnesses of Jesus.

Spain

  • Anthony & Lea Edgmon – This Sunday the Alpedrete Church will join with the Galapagar church for a joint Easter service. We appreciate your prayers for Anthony as he preaches. We also desire your prayers for each congregation as we seek to share the gospel in our communities.
  • Tim & Kristi Johnson – Please pray for believers in Spain as they are in the middle of Semana Santa (Holy Week).  While it is a time for a break from school and work routines, many towns have processionals and other events that offer opportunities for great conversations to share their faith.  Pray for boldness and wisdom for believers and openness to the Truth for those who don’t yet know Christ.

Mission Family

  • Pray for our expecting missionary families: Daniel and Kate Speer (Japan), Jonathan and Michelle Chereau (France), and Sam and Lauren Riggs (Spain). Pray the babies will grow and mature as expected.
  • Pray for former missionaries struggling with a variety of health problems: Brother Carlisle Hanna (India), Jerry and Carol Pinkerton (Ivory Coast), Bobby and Sue Aycock (Brazil), Florine Coscia (Brazil), Ledgel and Sharon Ferguson (Ivory Coast and France), Glenda Fulcher (Uruguay and Panama), Mirial Gainer (Japan), Barb Haas (France), Sherwood and Vada Lee (Ivory Coast),  Amy Robinson (Uruguay), Tom Willey, Jr. (Cuba & Panama), and Don Robirds (Brazil, IM office).
