Cuba
  • Kenneth Eagleton – Praise the Lord for the celebration August 3-8 of the 80th anniversary of the FWB work in Cuba. Clint Morgan and I were able to attend and witness what the Lord is doing in that country.
Ecuador
  • Adam & Carol Duncan – Please pray for our partner organization missionaries (JKC) as many are traveling back to Ecuador at the end of this week. Pray for endurance and fruitful conversations as we continue in language school. Our Ecuadorian government ID appointments are next week. This card will allow us to seek medical care, open a bank account, and interact with local service in a more natural way. Pray that these appointments will go well.
Educational Specialists (ITA)
  • Jeff & Susana Turnbough – THANK YOU for your prayers for the International Training Alliance! After seven years, our CFO is stepping down from ITA. Jake’s work with ECFA has increased and he no longer has time to do extracurricular volunteer work. Please pray that God will provide another qualified volunteer to fill this important role.
France
  • Shane & Joy (THP) – Praise the Lord with us for His faithfulness! We recently received word that we are fully funded and have been cleared to return to France. We plan to leave from Nashville, TN, next Tuesday evening, August 23.
Japan
  • Rusty & Brenda Carney – Pray for Rusty, as he injured his foot playing with our kids on the beach. He has fractured a bone in his foot and will most likely have surgery to put a screw in the bone this Saturday (August 20). Also please pray for good healing for the ligaments and tendons around his ankle that have experienced quite a bit of trauma and are swollen.
  • Jack & Ashley Ketteman – Please continue to pray that we will receive the needed paperwork this week. All we have been told is that things are “in process”. Please ask God to show us favor and speed our paperwork to us. Thank you!
  • Taylor Pate – Please be praying with me as I continue to raise support. Pray that people will feel the burden and conviction to help reach the Japanese with the Gospel and be a part of fulfilling the Great Commission.
Pakistan
  • Kenneth Eagleton – Praise the Lord for the news from one of our partners that another family has come to Christ in an area where there are no Christian churches.
Partnerships
  • Kenneth Eagleton – Pray for some of the delegates to the International Fellowship meeting in Bulgaria who are trying to secure visas to travel. Pray that they will obtain interview appointments in time and that they will receive favor from the authorities.
Spain
  • Anthony & Lea Edgmon – Thank you for praying for our children, Emily and Marc, as they will move into the dorms at Welch College this week. Pray for their adjustments to their junior and freshman years of college. May God guide their every step.
Mission Family
  • Pray for our expecting missionary family: Doug and Miriam Bishop (Japan). Pray the baby will grow and mature as expected.
  • Praise the Lord for the healthy birth of Olivia Ana-Claire, to Michelle and Jonathan Chereau in St Sébastien, France.
  • Pray for former missionaries struggling with a variety of health problems: Brother Carlisle Hanna (India), Jerry and Carol Pinkerton (Ivory Coast), Bobby and Sue Aycock (Brazil), Florine Coscia (Brazil), Ledgel and Sharon Ferguson (Ivory Coast and France), Glenda Fulcher (Uruguay and Panama), Mirial Gainer (Japan), Barb Haas (France), Sherwood and Vada Lee (Ivory Coast),  Amy Robinson (Uruguay), Tom Willey, Jr. (Cuba & Panama), and Don Robirds (Brazil, IM office).
