Bangladesh

  • Kenneth Eagleton – Praise the Lord for 110 baptisms and three new churches established in the last few days! Please pray that our partners would be able to locate another piece of land to purchase to erect the multipurpose center. They had land picked out, but the landowner sold it to someone else when administrative difficulties delayed the purchase.

Bulgaria

  • Tim & Lydia Awtrey – Praise God for new people and new groups starting in Bulgaria. We thank God for several new believers who are being discipled in the faith.
  • Brenton & Debbie Driscoll – This week we are in North Carolina for a missionary debrief at CIT. Please pray for a profitable time of sharing and processing.

Ecuador

  • Adam & Carol Duncan – Praise God with us that after nine months of language school, we will graduate on Friday, December 9! December is a busy month of transitions: moving from Quito to our target area, Misahualli, and the holiday season. We have made many connections here in Quito with both professors, Ecuadorians, and other missionaries; pray for these “see you later” moments.

France

  • Bryson Foulks – I’m praising God that my application was accepted by the University of Nantes! I just submitted my visa application on Monday, December 5 and I have an appointment scheduled with the French Consulate in Atlanta this Wednesday, December 7. Please pray that I have all the documentation required and that everything goes smoothly. Pray that my visa will be processed, approved, and mailed to me soon enough for me to make it to the beginning of my French courses at the University.
  • Steve & Becky Riggs – The church in Châteaubriant will have a Christmas party this Sunday afternoon, December 11. Pray for friends and family members who will be coming.

Ivory Coast

  • Kenneth Eagleton – Praise the Lord for the $1,605 raised by churches in Ivory Coast to help our churches and seminary in Cuba!

Japan

  • Ken & Judy Bailey – Kamifukuoka Christ Church (KCC) will be having the following special programs during December: Two Mommy and Me Christmas parties on December 16 and 17, and our KCC Family Christmas on December 25. Judy’s Iriso Christ Church English and Bible Study group will have their Christmas celebration on December 16. Many unsaved will be attending, so we appreciate your prayers for the Holy Spirit to move in hearts during this special season.
  • Doug & Miriam Bishop  – Pray for the Aino Sato Church’s  Christmas party this Saturday, December 10, and for the special Christmas services at the rest of the Hokkaido JFWB churches on Christmas Day.
  • Shannon Little – Please pray for Good News Chapel as we navigate our “new normal” without Donnie and Ruth McDonald.  Debbie Griffin, our national worker Etsuko Asahi, and I are working on a “prayer campaign” for the first six months of 2023.  Please pray for our church members and the leadership team to have unity and for God to continue to work in and grow our church.
  • Taylor Pate – This past Sunday I spoke at my last church of 2022! I am so thankful for the past year and how it was full of wonderful opportunities to speak of the need in Japan. Would you pray for the next few weeks? I am hoping to be 75% funded by the end of the year. That will be a 20% jump from where I’m at right now. Please be praying for more financial partners!

Panama

  • Kenneth Eagleton – Praise the Lord for the 45 new converts this year reported by the mission church in Chepo, and for their outreach to the local university campus.

Spain

  • Josh & Bethany (THP) – Please pray for Bethany, who has a bad ear infection and a ruptured eardrum.

Mission Family

  • Pray for our expecting missionary family: Lauren Herren (ETEAM). Pray that the baby will grow and mature as expected.
  • Pray for former missionaries struggling with a variety of health problems: Jan Banks (Japan), Brother Carlisle Hanna (India), Jerry and Carol Pinkerton (Ivory Coast), Bobby and Sue Aycock (Brazil), Tom and Nancy Hughes (Brazil), Florine Coscia (Brazil), Dave and Pat Franks (Brazil), Ledgel and Sharon Ferguson (Ivory Coast and France), Glenda Fulcher (Uruguay and Panama), Mirial Gainer (Japan), Barb Haas (France), Sherwood and Vada Lee (Ivory Coast),  Amy Robinson (Uruguay), Tom Willey, Jr. (Cuba & Panama), and Don Robirds (Brazil, IM office).
