Brazil

  • Kenneth Eagleton – Praise the Lord for four people who were baptized this past Sunday by Pastor Paulo César at the Nova América FWB Church in Campinas, Brazil.

Bulgaria

  • Jonathan & Amy Postlewaite – Please pray for the Christmas parties that we will be organizing in a few kindergartens in the area next week. Pray that God will use these parties to help the children and the adults who work there to understand the true meaning of Christmas. Pray that they will lead to open doors for future disciple-making efforts.
  • Trif & Vanya Trifonov – Please pray that our people at New Life Church in Varna would be bold to share the good news and invite their friends to our evangelistic Alpha group and our Christmas services. Also, pray for us to raise the funds needed to complete the repair work in the basement of the church. Finally, pray for wisdom and strength as we have to juggle many responsibilities, including caring for Trif’s mom who suffers from dementia.

Ecuador

  • Adam & Carol Duncan – Antioch Academy puts on a Christmas Showcase as a community outreach each year.  Pray that many lives will be touched. We are coming down to the end of the kids and Carol’s schooling. Continue to pray for a new OB/GYN/Peds preceptor for Carol, or that God will bring the 61 patient types still needed to finish her clinicals at her current location.

France

  • Matt & Cristina Price – Praise the Lord for the baptism of Cindy on November 28.  Cindy had close to ten unsaved friends at church to hear her testimony.  Pray that her friends will see the difference in Cindy’s life and will ask her questions about her faith.

India

  • Praise the Lord for eleven people who were recently baptized in a 55-gallon drum by one of our partners. The house church did not have a dedicated baptistry and public baptisms in ponds or rivers attract too much attention in an atmosphere where Christians are persecuted. Therefore, they had to improvise.

Spain

  • Anthony & Lea Edgmon- Praise the Lord with us for the 18 teens and adults from the Alpedrete congregation who volunteered at Operation Christmas Child on Monday morning.  We were part of a group of volunteers that processed over 8,000 boxes in one morning—a record in Madrid!  Pray that experiences like these will impact our young people and encourage them as they serve Christ and share His love.
  • Sam & Lauren Riggs – Thank you so much for praying with us as we searched for an apartment. Right after Hotline was posted last week, we were called that we were approved for not one, but TWO different apartments! Praise the Lord for this answer to prayers! We chose one apartment, and have been spending the last week furnishing it, and working on moving in. We think that by the end of this week we should be fully moved in.
