Bulgaria
  • Tim & Lydia Awtrey – We thank God for a bigger meeting place for Sunday church. Please pray for the hotel manager, George. Pray that he will come to know Jesus Christ.
  • Brenton & Debbie Driscoll – We praise God for His protection over Brenton’s life. On Friday, Brenton suffered second-degree flash burns to his face and right hand. We appreciate your prayers as he recovers.
  • Trif & Vanya Trifonov – This week we are going to have our IM Bulgaria Team retreat. Please pray for safe travels, God’s presence, joyful fellowship, renewal of strength, and physical restoration after the busyness of the Christmas season.
Ecuador
  • Adam & Carol Duncan – This is a full week! We are partnering with a US medical team and local churches in unreached and under-reached communities; on Monday six prayed to receive Christ. Wednesday, we will travel to a new community that has not been reached by the Gospel. We praise God for opening doors for medical outreach. Carol also begins her work at the school on Friday.
France
  • Bryson Foulks – I thank the Lord for allowing me to make it safely to France on January 18, and thank you to all of my prayer and financial partners that helped bring that to fruition! Please continue to pray for me as I adjust to life, ministry, and language learning in France. I’ve already been blessed to have the opportunity to share my testimony and “why I’m not afraid of death” with some people. Please pray for those individuals and pray that the Lord will open up many more opportunities to share and connect.
Japan
  • Shannon Little – On January 26, my mom fell in her home and fractured both of her femurs just above the knee. She had surgery on Saturday to place metal plates and screws to allow the bones to heal. She cannot bear weight on her legs for at least two months. I returned to America on Monday to be with her. Pray for her bones to heal quickly and for our family to make good decisions concerning her future care. Please also pray for the Disney and fish shop ladies. They both love my mom dearly and are very upset about her condition. Pray for them to see God’s hand at work and to come to faith in Him.
  • Taylor Pate – Praise the Lord that I am 72% funded! Thank you to each person who has become a financial partner with me, and to every person who has been praying for me these last few months. Please pray with me to be 80% funded by March. If I can hit this goal, I will be able to attend CIT in the spring and then be in Japan by early summer. Please be in prayer that more financial partners will join in these upcoming weeks.
  • Daniel & Kate Speer – We are so happy to announce that we are now officially 100% funded! Thank you for giving and for praying. Please pray that our immigration forms will arrive from Japan soon so that we can make final plans and preparations to return and begin our first career term. Pray also for great sustained health for everyone as we say our goodbyes and navigate the difficult transitions.
Spain
  • Keren Delgado – This past weekend I was able to share the mission that God has called me to do in Spain with a Hispanic church. I praise God for their great interest to be involved. Pray for the other churches that I will be visiting these coming Sundays, and for safety as I travel alone. Praise God for His faithfulness through your support and prayers! Also, pray for the Lord to give me opportunities to share the Gospel here while stateside. Pray especially for a woman that I met while going to the salon, K. Pray that K may soften her heart to God, and for our next meeting together.
Mission Family
  • Please pray for the family of Thomas H. Willey Jr., who passed away Tuesday, January 31, in Florida. He grew up in Cuba while his parents were missionaries there. He then served as a missionary in Cuba and later in Panama.
  • Please pray for retired missionary to India, Brother Carlisle Hanna. He was admitted to hospital Tuesday, January 31, with chest pains
  • Pray for our expecting missionary family: Lauren Herren (ETEAM). Pray that the baby will grow and mature as expected.
  • Pray for former missionaries struggling with a variety of health problems: Jerry and Carol Pinkerton (Ivory Coast), Bobby and Sue Aycock (Brazil), Tom and Nancy Hughes (Brazil), Florine Coscia (Brazil), Dave and Pat Franks (Brazil), Ledgel and Sharon Ferguson (Ivory Coast and France), Glenda Fulcher (Uruguay and Panama), Mirial Gainer (Japan), Barb Haas (France), Sherwood and Vada Lee (Ivory Coast),  Amy Robinson (Uruguay), and Don Robirds (Brazil, IM office).
