Bangladesh

  • Kenneth Eagleton – Praise the Lord for the Scripture dedication events I was able to attend. These were historic moments when a people group in the southwestern part of the country received printed copies of their recently translated New Testament in their heart language. Then a few days later, another people group in the northwestern part of the country received MP3 players with an audio version of the recently translated New Testament into their language.

Brazil

  • Kenneth Eagleton – Praise the Lord for encouragement received and rededications made at two retreats over this past long weekend of Carnaval (Mardi Gras). This is typically a time of lewd celebrations in Brazil, with much drinking and promiscuity. Our FWB churches offered alternative places to spend this time, especially for the youth who are particularly vulnerable.

Bulgaria

  • Tim & Lydia AwtreyPraise God for the new people attending church. Please pray that these new people will come to faith and begin to follow Jesus wholeheartedly through participation in our discipleship program. Pray also for three new people attending the Alpha Course (Bible study for non-believers). Pray that they come to know Jesus.
  • Josh ProvowPraise God for the nine people who came to the first meeting of our Alpha Course and for the 12 kids who participated in our new Bible club in the city of Kaspichan. Please pray that these introductory groups will lead to people becoming disciples of Christ!
  • Jonathan & Amy Postlewaite – We praise God for our daughter Jonna’s young friend who believed in Christ for salvation last Sunday. He has been coming to our Sunday kids’ class for several weeks. Please pray that his family, who do not attend church, will support his decision and that in time they will also come to know Christ as their Savior.
  • Trif & Vanya Trifonov – Praise God for the new opportunities to talk about the Bible and Christianity with the Ukrainian refugees who come to the Bulgarian language class. Please pray for a good number of non-Christian people to attend our discussion “Contagion of Evil” where we are going to talk about a Bulgarian Christian writer’s book, “The Smitten Ones”. Pray that the Holy Spirit will work in their hearts.

Cuba

  • Kenneth EagletonPray for the National Association of FWB Churches which meets February 22-26 in Pinar del Rio. Pray for Jaimie and Tammy Lancaster as they represent IM. Both will be speaking at different times during the program.

Ecuador

  • Adam & Carol DuncanThis week is a week of rest and learning. Carol’s grandma passed away last week at age 93. Pray for this side of the family as most are not Christians. We will attend a Third Culture Kids (TCK) Retreat in Quito this weekend; pray for rejuvenation and rest. (Third Culture Kids are missionary kids, military brats, or children who grew up in a country other than their birth/passport country).

France

  • Bryson FoulksI thank the Lord for helping me find a tutor for French and for some new acquaintances that He has brought into my life. Please continue to pray that I will improve in the language learning and that God will give me wisdom and favor with those that I meet.

India

  • Kenneth EagletonPraise the Lord for the recent baptism of seven people, conducted by one of our partners.

Japan

  • Jack & Ashley KettemanPlease continue to pray for our language studies. We are entering month six and we are grateful for your faithful intercession! The Lord is kindly answering your prayers, helping us learn and retain material and giving us opportunities to share Him with our teachers. Please pray especially for Ashley’s Tuesday teacher who has advanced breast cancer. Pray that God will bless His Word that was given to her and that she will come to faith in Jesus.

Pakistan

  • Kenneth EagletonPray for a serious economic downturn in Pakistan with the highest inflation in recent history and unemployment which is affecting believers in our churches.

Panama

Partnerships

  • Kenneth Eagleton – Praise the Lord for a recent baptism at the Emanuel FWB Church in Malvin Norte, Montevideo, Uruguay. This church is led by Cuban missionary Yosvanys Quiñones.

Spain

  • Anthony & Lea Edgmon – We appreciate your prayers for visitors to our church services and women’s Bible study. We’ve known some of them for many years, but this is the first time they are joining us to study God’s Word. Others are brand new to our town and church. Pray that Alpedrete believers will continue to share the light of the Gospel with those around them.
  • Keren Delgado – Pray for more financial and prayer partners so I can soon go to Spain and share the gospel. Thank you for praying for opportunities to share the gospel while I am here fundraising. Continue praying for K. We had a complicated conversation about church, and she told me that she is not Christian because she was hurt by the church. She didn’t give me details and changed the conversation. Pray for her that she may continue opening up to me, and that the Lord will heal her wounds and soften her heart to know the truth! Also, pray for me to have wisdom when I speak to her.
  • Josh & Bethany (THP) – Sickness has once again hit our household and we would appreciate your prayers. It has been months since all four of us were healthy. That makes ministry difficult and is physically and emotionally taxing. Please pray for good health! Also, please pray for conversations happening with our friends, that they would be led by the Holy Spirit and will demonstrate our genuine love for them.

General Director of IM

  • Clint Morgan – Please pray for Lynette and I as we start our journey back to the U.S. from Côte d’Ivoire. Pray for Lynette who was sick for five days, and is feeling slightly better, but far from 100%. We rejoice in the time we had at our other ‘home’ and with the people we cherish.
