Bulgaria
  • Brenton & Debbie Driscoll – We are thankful for the connections we have already been able to have with churches and individuals in California. Please continue to pray that God will help us build relationships as we raise support to return to Bulgaria.
  • Jonathan & Amy Postlewaite – Please pray for the four young men who visited our churches in Odurne and Pleven for the first time last Sunday. Pray that they will continue coming and that God will use the Truth they hear at church to lead them to salvation through His Son, Jesus Christ.
  • Josh Provow – Praise God for the four-person team from the Hanna Project that served in Shumen December 28 – January 10. They helped lead 12 Operation Christmas Child parties, as well as launch a kids’ Bible club in the village of Vehtovo. Please pray that the Lord of the harvest would provide laborers to help with follow-up in these unchurched towns and villages!
Ecuador
  • Adam & Carol Duncan – During the month of January, we begin talking with community members on felt needs and other needs we may see. Pray for persons of peace. Pray for us as we integrate into the existing team (about ten others), each with our different responsibilities. Pray that Caleb & Moriah will make friends.
Educational Specialists (ITA)
  • Jeff & Susana Turnbough – Please pray as we launch the online Communications Matters Course this week. Our training team comes from four different countries and time zones, and the participants come from eight different countries. This new online course lasts for eight weeks, meeting twice per week.
France
  • Bryson Foulks – I just received my visa! Now I am only a plane ticket away from getting to France, in time for my courses at the University. Thank you everyone for your prayers, partnerships, encouragement, and support. Please continue to pray for me as I begin this journey. Most of all, pray for the nation and people of France and our teams serving and magnifying the name of Jesus there.
Japan
  • Ken & Judy Bailey – KCC is hosting a Game and Pizza Night on January 20 to encourage people to spend time together as a church family. Pray as we invite people that many will participate, and that this will be a special time of fellowship for the church family and for any nonbelievers who might attend.
  • Doug & Miriam Bishop – We are still needing people to join the Sapporo THP team in March. Pray that the right people will join, and for preparations to go smoothly.
  • Rusty & Brenda Carney – Thank you for praying for our Christmas and New Year’s events! We had several new people show up, and they were all able to hear the Gospel message clearly presented. Our New Year’s Day service also went well. We are excited that the families who have recently started attending our church are expressing more and more interest in getting involved. Please pray the Lord will revive all our hearts and make us bold witnesses for Him
  • Daniel & Kate Speer – We are still waiting on our paperwork to come in from Japan, after which we can get our visas in the US and then make preparations to leave for our first career term. Please pray that these forms would arrive quickly to start this process.
Pakistan
  • Kenneth Eagleton – Pray for a Christian lady in Pakistan who works as a security officer. She is being wrongly accused (under the blasphemy laws of the country) and receiving death threats because she would not allow someone to breach security protocols.
Panama
  • Kenneth Eagleton – Praise the Lord for the annual Convention of the National Association of FWB Churches of Panama that met January 7.
Spain
  • Anthony & Lea Edgmon – Many believers in our church have started off this new year with a renewed burden to share the Gospel with those around them. Please pray this will continue and they will have boldness in their witness.
Mission Family
  • Pray for our expecting missionary family: Lauren Herren (ETEAM). Pray that the baby will grow and mature as expected.
  • Pray for former missionaries struggling with a variety of health problems: Brother Carlisle Hanna (India), Jerry and Carol Pinkerton (Ivory Coast), Bobby and Sue Aycock (Brazil), Tom and Nancy Hughes (Brazil), Florine Coscia (Brazil), Dave and Pat Franks (Brazil), Ledgel and Sharon Ferguson (Ivory Coast and France), Glenda Fulcher (Uruguay and Panama), Mirial Gainer (Japan), Barb Haas (France), Sherwood and Vada Lee (Ivory Coast),  Amy Robinson (Uruguay), Tom Willey, Jr. (Cuba & Panama), and Don Robirds (Brazil, IM office).
