Brazil
- Kenneth Eagleton – Praise the Lord for Pastor Lucas Lima, of the First FWB Church of Campinas, who is completing 20 years of ordination and as pastor of that church.
Bulgaria
- Tim & Lydia Awtrey – We are hosting a THP project in the beginning of June that will pair up Christian students from Hilltop Church in North Carolina with Bulgarian students from Svishtov. Please pray that even now God will be preparing the hearts of the Bulgarian students to hear and receive the gospel of Jesus Christ.
- Brenton & Debbie Driscoll – We praise God that this coming Sunday, one of the men who Brenton discipled during our time in Shumen will get the chance to preach at church for the first time! We rejoice in seeing how God has grown him over the past year and ask that you keep him in your prayers as he continues to seek the Lord’s guidance in his life.
Cuba
- Kenneth Eagleton – Praise the Lord for a well-attended Youth Rally of the Pinar del Rio district held at the Luis Lazo Church.
Ecuador
- Adam & Carol Duncan – Praise the Lord that we have an appointment for our long-term visas! Pray for our visioning process as we travel to Misahualli this coming week and welcome the THP short-term team. They will be teaching classes and building lunch space to hold all the students.
France
- Matt & Cristina Price – Pray for a teenager who attends the St Nazaire church occasionally and who has already tried several times to commit suicide. Pray that the Holy Spirit would be very evident in her life right now.
Ivory Coast
- Kenneth Eagleton – Praise the Lord for 17 people baptized in the village of Kafolo and eight in the village of Kodrosso, both in the extreme north of the country. Praise the Lord for the dedication of a new church building for the congregation at Bougou (their previous building became too small).
Japan
- Heath & Joni Hubbard – This week at Hope Alive we are finishing our series on the study of Ezekiel. We are talking about how God’s presence in our lives makes all the difference. Please pray with us that God’s presence will be felt by everyone there and that it will lead us to see a great movement of God. This Sunday night, three summer interns will land in Tokyo; pray for them to make it safely and for their impact to be great for God’s glory. We are praying for God to bring more people to know Him here In Japan. Pray with us for changed lives and for God’s glory and power to be on display in great ways.
- Jack & Ashley Ketteman – Please continue to pray for us as we drive from CA back to TN this weekend! We praise the Lord for the many churches we were able to visit during these weeks. Please continue to pray that the Lord will provide the rest of our needed monthly financial support so that we can return to Japan in early August.
Partnerships
- Kenneth Eagleton – Pray for the International Fellowship of Free Will Baptist Churches as they meet in Bulgaria the first few days in September. Pray that delegates from all countries where we have FWB churches will not have trouble getting visas to attend the conference.
Spain
- Tim & Kristi Johnson – Pray for Kristi as she joins the THP Ecuador team from May 27 to June 4 to minister with IM partners, Jungle Kids for Christ. She is excited to use her Spanish to teach Bible lessons to students and her photography skills to help the school with getting some promotional photos. Pray for the team of 40 people who will be taking Help, Hope, and Healing to the jungle of Ecuador.
- Josh & Bethany (THP) – Thank you for praying for Josh as he has been working to pass his driving test. He passed yesterday after four attempts and we are so excited! Now he just has to complete the required driving lessons and road test. Please pray for our Ukrainian relief program as we are serving almost 700 people weekly on top of our normal 615 recipients. Pray for wisdom and for us to be a light to the many passing through our doors each week.
