Bangladesh

  • Kenneth Eagleton – Praise the Lord for a pastors’ and church-planters’ continuing education workshop that was held about a month ago with nearly 50 participants from the Word of Life (FWB) churches. Most of these are involved in village evangelism. 

Brazil

  • Kenneth Eagleton – Praise the Lord for two teens who were baptized on May 1st at the First FWB Church in Campinas and for a missions workshop held at the church all day on Saturday (April 30). 

Bulgaria

  • Tim & Lydia Awtrey – Praise God for our safe return from Ukraine and that we were able to distribute 3.5 tons of food to five villages in the Mykolaiv region. I ask that you pray for wisdom as we try to reach out to the Ukrainians.
  • Brenton & Debbie Driscoll – This Saturday we are concluding our ladies’ book study by discussing the last chapter of our book and doing a fun DIY project. Pray for a good and meaningful conversation, as well as for all the ladies who have been a part of this study. May they apply all they have learned about biblical womanhood to their own lives and be a good example to those around them.  
  • Trif & Vanya Trifonov – Praise God for a great Men’s Breakfast & Bible Study on Christians and war. Please pray for the men at New Life Church Varna to be the godly leaders of their homes, workplace, and church that God calls them to be! 

Cuba

  • Kenneth Eagleton – Pray for our pastors and church-planters as they are struggling with the economic challenges in the country. Churches are losing many young people as they take opportunities to leave the country. 

France

  • Bryson Foulks – I want to praise God for the GoGlobal event we had this past Saturday and for the service I was a part of this Sunday at Limestone FWB Church (Limestone, TN). Thank you to all who were praying for these events and all who continue to pray for our missionaries and churches. Please be in prayer for my dad (Johnathan Foulks) that he will have a speedy recovery from oral surgery he had Monday. 

India

  • Kenneth Eagleton – Pray for Sindhu’s father, leader of the GITN partnership. His father needs to have coronary heart surgery but they are unable to afford the costs.

Ivory Coast

  • Kenneth Eagleton – Pray for Pastor Daniel Maizan’s wife, who has been having serious health issues and is in Abidjan for treatment. 

Japan

  • Doug & Miriam Bishop – Praise God that we have our certificates of eligibility from Japan! We have an appointment with the Japanese consulate next week. Pray that the visa process will go smoothly.
  • Daniel & Kate Speer – If the baby doesn’t arrive before then, Kate is scheduled to go in for induced labor on Thursday (May 5) morning. Please pray for her and baby Isla and good delivery! Also, pray that the Lord would provide even more funding toward our account while we are limited in travel over the next month.

Pakistan

  • Kenneth Eagleton –  Praise the Lord for the “Youth Aflame” conferences that have been held in several of our churches. This past Saturday (April 30), despite the intense heat, 300 youth met for three sessions of Bible teaching and 25 youth answered the call to evangelism. The conference will be held in another location on May 4.  Last Sunday (May 1), one of the FWB churches in the Lahore area baptized 25 people. 

Spain

  • Tim & Kristi Johnson – Our son, Alejandro, will be graduating from Welch College this week with degrees in Intercultural Studies and Worship Ministry.  He will continue his studies at Welch as he pursues a Master of Divinity.  Pray for him and his wife, Breanna, as they make this transition and search for God’s will for their future ministry.
  • Neil & Mandi Morgan – We are very excited to have Bayley Floyd, an Overseas Apprentice from Welch College, coming to stay with and work alongside us this summer. Bayley arrives next week. Please pray for her as she finishes her semester at Welch and makes her final preparations to come.
  • Josh & Bethany (THP) – Please be in prayer for our little ones. They have been very sick with various things for the last month which has resulted in five ER visits. Pray for us as we are navigating the health system here and for their little immune systems! Please pray also for a short-term team who will be arriving here this weekend. Pray for safe travels and for the various programs that will be happening next week. 

Mission Family

  • Pray for our expecting missionary families: Daniel and Kate Speer (Japan), Jonathan and Michelle Chereau (France)Doug and Miriam Bishop (Japan), and Sam and Lauren Riggs (Spain). Pray the babies will grow and mature as expected.’
  • We are excited to celebrate baby Isla Hope Speer being born on May 5! Join us in praying for the Speers as they adjust to being a family of six.
  • Pray for former missionaries struggling with a variety of health problems: Brother Carlisle Hanna (India), Jerry and Carol Pinkerton (Ivory Coast), Bobby and Sue Aycock (Brazil), Florine Coscia (Brazil), Ledgel and Sharon Ferguson (Ivory Coast and France), Glenda Fulcher (Uruguay and Panama), Mirial Gainer (Japan), Barb Haas (France), Sherwood and Vada Lee (Ivory Coast),  Amy Robinson (Uruguay), Tom Willey, Jr. (Cuba & Panama), and Don Robirds (Brazil, IM office).
