Brazil

• Kenneth Eagleton – Pray for the Jaraguá FWB Church in Uberlândia as they try to stretch their funds in order to get the construction of their building to a point where they can start meeting in it.

Bulgaria

• Brenton & Debbie Driscoll – There are a couple of people from our church and friend group who are dealing with COVID right now. Please pray for their healing, as well as for our ministries which have already started to be impacted by the new COVID restrictions in the country.
• Jonathan & Amy Postlewaite – Pray for the Lord to provide strength and encouragement for a few isolated believers who are living in villages where we hope to see churches planted one day. Pray for our efforts to connect with the unsaved family members and neighbors of these believers, with the hope of inviting them to study the Bible with us.
• Trif & Vanya Trifonov – Please pray for our evangelistic lecture on the theme of “What If Jesus Hadn’t Come…” The lecture will be given by our youth leader Dessi on Thursday, Oct. 28. The non-Christians who come will be invited to a series of discussions on “Jesus: Fact or Fiction”. Pray that God would use this event to draw non-believers near to Himself and make them thirsty for more!

Ecuador

• Adam & Carol Duncan – We begin our visa process this week. Adam will need to renew his passport first; pray this is processed with ease. We are thankful that we are very close to fully funded status. Pray that those who have made faith promises will be able to follow through with their commitments.

Educational Specialists (ITA)

• Jeff & Susana Turnbough – Please pray for Susana and the team of trainers from Africa as they complete week three of the six-week virtual Relationship Matters Course this week. Internet has been an issue for some of the trainers and participants, but not as much as we thought it might be. Please pray that our African trainers can transmit the core elements of LMC to participants in their contexts and that God will use it to make them all more effective leaders.

France

• Steve & Becky Riggs – Please pray for a friend undergoing treatment for cancer.  Pray that even though this situation he may come to faith in Christ. Pray for the many people who pass daily by the church that their curiosity may lead them to ask questions and get to know us.

India

• Kenneth Eagleton – Praise the Lord for the report from a church planter with whom we partner, of the baptism of eight believers this past Sunday.

Japan

• Rusty & Brenda Carney – Praise God for the recent baptism of the son of one of the couples in our church. Please pray for his continued spiritual growth. Also, our teammates, Ken and Judy Bailey found a place to live and were able to move in this past week. Pray for them as they get settled in their new home and back in the community. Also, pray all believers here in Japan would remain strong in their faith!

Partnerships

• Kenneth Eagleton – Thank you for praying for me while I was in Pakistan. I got back Monday evening and all went well. I had an amazing visit with the FWBs there. Praise the Lord for the wonderful work they are doing with very few resources. Stay tuned for more details. Pray for Afghan FWB believers who have gone underground due to the extreme danger they are facing from the current regime in control of the country.

Spain

• Anthony & Lea Edgmon – Please continue to pray with us for our new teammates, Sam and Lauren Riggs, and their daughter, Emilia. They are waiting on one final paper in order to join us here in Spain. Pray they will remain encouraged as they say their “see you laters” to friends and family in the States and prepare for their move to Spain.
• Tim & Kristi Johnson – This past week, Spain passed the mark of over 5 million cases of COVID since the beginning of the pandemic. While numbers are relatively low at this point, cases have risen again over the past few weeks. Pray for those who have experienced loss and anxiety, that they will find true Peace in the middle of this terrible pandemic.

Mission Family

• Pray for our expecting missionary family: Brenton and Debbie Driscoll (Bulgaria). Ask God to give good health and wisdom. Pray the baby will grow and mature as expected.
• Pray for IM board member, Rick Cason, who is recovering from knee surgery this week.
• Please pray for our Stateside missionaries as they seek prayer and financial support.
• Pray for those who are still affected by COVID around the world. Many countries around the world are still struggling.
