Brazil

  • Kenneth Eagleton – Leaders of our Free Will Baptist churches will be coming together for a meeting of the Alliance of FWB Churches in Jaboticabal this weekend. Please pray for this precious time of renewal, fellowship, and decision-making.

Bulgaria

  • Tim & Lydia Awtrey – As you read this, we are kicking off three new outreach events at our church. We are hosting a special discussion, Alpha course, for non-believers, a Bible study for people in the church to connect with God, and an English outreach event on Thursdays.  Will you take a moment to pray that God will work in the hearts of those he is drawing to Himself through these outreach events?
  • Brenton & Debbie Driscoll – Please pray for the women’s book study on biblical womanhood that we are starting this Saturday, September 25. May the Lord use it to strengthen many women and help them discover their true womanhood and purpose in life.
  • Josh Provow – After a long hiatus, two men from the church in Shumen are ready to continue going through a 24-lesson discipleship curriculum. Please pray that they will be prepared for the lesson on Friday and that our internet connection will be stable.
  • Trif & Vanya Trifonov – Next week the leaders of the church are meeting to pray and plan the events for the fall and spring of 2022. Please, pray for us to have a clear vision and to hear God’s voice so that He is glorified through the ministries and events we have in the next year.

Cuba

  • Kenneth Eagleton – Praise the Lord, FWBs from Panama found a way to send critically needed medicines to our brothers and sisters in Cuba. The first shipment of three boxes was received and a second one is being prepared. The information we are receiving is that there has been a complete scarcity of medicines of all kinds and medical supplies in the healthcare system of that country.

Ecuador

  • Adam & Carol Duncan – Continue to pray for our JKC partners working on the long-term Visa status and as we begin the Visa process next week. Pray for decisions made this week if Carol can be allowed to take the one-credit class so she may graduate in December.

India

  • Kenneth Eagleton – Pray for pastors and church-planters in India. One of the church planters from one of our partners in the country was called to the police station several times for questioning on accusations of “conversion”. Several states in India have “anti-conversion” laws that make it illegal to “convert” Hindus to another religion. Christians, and especially pastors, are constantly harassed with accusations of conversion that could lead to their arrest and imprisonment.

Japan

  • Ken & Judy Bailey – Please pray that our “pending” rental contract will be accepted this week, and pray for us as we reestablish relationships with people in the Kamifukuoka Christ Church neighborhood.
  • Shannon Little – Two weeks from today, I will head back to America for a year of stateside assignment. Please pray for me as I say goodbye to my dear friends here in Japan. Many of them are going through some very difficult seasons. Also, pray for me as I do all of the many things that need to be done before leaving the country for a year. Please pray for a negative Covid test on October 5 and for the safety of travel. Thank you!

Panama

  • Kenneth Eagleton – Praise the Lord for five people who were baptized this past weekend in the Chame FWB Church. Pray for this church as they try to raise the final $50,000 (plus a matching gift of $50,000) to pay off the note on their building. They are already past the halfway mark.

Spain

  • Anthony & Lea Edgmon – This Sunday, September 26, will be Youth Sunday at the Alpedrete Church. Marc has been working to organize the music, drama, Scripture readings, and devotional thoughts that will be shared. Please pray for the 18 young people who will be participating in this service. Pray that God would continue to make His will clear in their lives and that they will obey Him.
  • Sam & Lauren Riggs – On Monday we finally received word that we are fully funded! Praise the Lord for His faithfulness and answered prayers. We want to thank you for praying for us to get here. Please pray that we receive the documents we need from Spain. We need Emilia’s Spanish passport as well as our Spanish family book, which shows that I am married to Sam. Please pray with us that these documents will come this week so we can make plans to get to Spain as soon as possible.
  • Tim & Kristi Johnson – Please pray for us as we continue to travel to churches in the States.  During these next few weeks, we will be visiting churches in Michigan and South Carolina, where we’ve had faithful supporters for almost 25 years.

Mission Family

  • Please pray for our Stateside missionaries as they seek prayer and financial support.
  • Pray for those who are still affected by COVID. Many countries around the world are still struggling.
  • Pray for former missionaries struggling with a variety of health problems: Jerry Pinkerton (Ivory Coast), Bobby and Sue Aycock (Brazil), Florine Coscia (Brazil), Ledgel and Sharon Ferguson (Ivory Coast and France), Glenda Fulcher (Uruguay and Panama), Mirial Gainer (Japan), Joe and Barb Haas (France), Sherwood and Vada Lee (Ivory Coast), Lloyd Plunkett (Côte d’Ivoire), Amy Robinson (Uruguay), Tom Willey, Jr. (Cuba & Panama), Don Robirds (Brazil, IM office), and Brother Carlisle Hanna (India).
