FRANCE: Judy Bryan and five women from the La Boissière Church in Nantes are attending a Christian women’s retreat today through Saturday (May 29-June 1). Ask God to use this time to strengthen and grow their faith and to provide encouragement as they worship and fellowship with Christians from all over France.

MISSION FAMILY: Pray for our expectant mothers: Miriam Bishop (June, Japan), Katie Speer (August, Japan), Mandi Morgan (July, Uruguay), Lydie Teague (May, France), Alicia Crowe (November, Japan), Rachel and Tori (November and August, THP Spain). Pray for healthy pregnancies and safe deliveries. Pray especially for Lydie, due last week, as her doctor plans to induce labor, asking God to keep both her and the baby safe.

SPAIN: A group from Locust Grove FWB in Oklahoma is visiting and assisting the Alpedrete Church this week (May 27-June 4). On Friday, May 31, they will provide English activities in the local elementary school and Saturday, June 1, help host an end-of-school party at the Outreach Center. Pray their presence and interaction with believers will be encouraging. Ask God to give them excellent testimonies as they interact with non-believers.

PANAMA: The Torrisons and Penonomé church are holding a vacation Bible school this week (May 27-31). Ask God to draw children and their families to the VBS and to Himself. Pray for many new contacts to be made and many good opportunities to build relationships.

FRANCE: Patsy Vanhook leaves France this Friday, May 31, for her final stateside assignment and preparation for retirement at the end of the year. Ask God to be with her as she says goodbyes and concludes her ministry in France. Pray for grace, strength, and peace as she transitions.

URUGUAY: Molly Barker is scheduled to have knee replacement surgery in North Carolina on June 4. Ask God to guide the surgeon’s hands and to give healing and strength as Miss Molly goes through rehab.

MISSION FAMILY: Another busy month of travel is ahead as missionaries return to and leave the States. The Nathan and Linda Snow family is departing for Japan on June 11. Matt and Christina Price (June 24, France), Debbie (and Corbin) Anderson (June 4, Côte d’Ivoire; Verlin follows in July), Tim and Lydia Awtrey (June 25, Bulgaria), Cathy Crawford (June 27, France), and Rusty and Brenda Carney (June 27, Japan) are all preparing to return to the States. Pray for each of these families as they pack, say goodbyes, anticipate the changes in ministry, and prepare children for cultural adjustments.
