Argentina Partnership

IM has established a partnership with IBLFG to come alongside them to empower them in their evangelism, discipleship, church planting, and leadership training efforts.

Argentina is a Spanish-speaking country located at the southern tip of South America. It is the second-largest country on the continent by land size and the third most populous. Approximately 46 million people claim to be Catholic (49%, although only about 20% practice their religion) with 11-15% claiming to be evangelical (90% of which are Pentecostal/Charismatic). Argentina also has the largest communities of Muslims and Jews in South America. Approximately 19% claim to have no religion, 8-9% of which confess to being agnostic or atheist. Bible-believing churches that seek to follow the Scriptures are rare.

In 2023, an unaffiliated Baptist church in the city of Rosario with Reformed Arminian doctrine discovered Free Will Baptists and petitioned to join. Iglesia Bautista Libre Familia de la Gracia (IBLFG) is a growing church that is networking with like-minded churches and doing church planting of their own. They are translating FWB doctrinal books and other materials into Spanish for use in Argentina and throughout the Spanish-speaking world.

As of October 1, 2023, IM has established a partnership with IBLFG to come alongside them to empower them in their evangelism, discipleship, church planting, and leadership training efforts.
