Matt and Cristina Price began their forth term of service in France in 2019. After 13 years in the Nantes Free Will Baptist Church, the Prices moved to Saint Nazaire to aid the Free Will Baptist Church there. Matt works with the youth and children’s ministries while Cristina works with the music ministry of the church.
Matt’s father led him to the Lord at the age of seven. Matt was baptized and later answered the call to full-time ministry at Goshen Free Will Baptist Church in Mt. Holly, North Carolina. While a student at Welch College, he realized God was leading him to minister to young people overseas.
Cristina accepted the Lord at the age of six and was baptized by her father at her home church in Omaha, Nebraska. While pursuing a music degree at Welch College, Cristina answered the call to foreign missions during her freshman year.
During summer breaks from college, Matt worked in several churches: Goshen FWB Church in Mt. Holly, North Carolina; First FWB Church in Dardenelle, Arkansas; and Bethel FWB Church in Dearborn Heights, Michigan. He served as children’s church pastor at West End FWB Church in Springfield, Tennessee, for five years. He was also a member of the 1997 Go & Be team to Côte d’Ivoire.
Matt and Cristina served with Steve and Becky Riggs in Nantes as short-term missionary apprentices for nine months (1999-2000). They completed three years working with the youth at Liberty Bible FWB Church in Gainesville, Georgia, in 2003.
The Prices were appointed as career missionaries in the December 2002 session of the Board of Foreign Missions. They left for Albertville, France, in May 2005. After a year of language and cultural acquisition, they relocated to Nantes, where they continued their studies and participated in ministry in the Nantes FWB Church.
Matt and Cristina have twin daughters—Madeleine and Emilie—born September 2009.

- Despite Covid, God has really been moving in the St. Nazaire Church. Since September 2020, we have seen over 100 first time visitors attend our church. Pray that the church can make each visitor feel welcomed so that they can find their place in the church.
- We have a number of unbelievers that attend the church each Sunday. Pray that these attenders will soon make decisions for the Lord.
- We have a number of families in the church where the husband is the believer and the wife is the unbeliever. Pray for these men to show Christ-like love to their wives and that these ladies would come to know the Lord.
