IM, Inc. News Release
Antioch, Tennessee–Brenton and Debbie Driscoll have resigned from service as IM missionaries to Bulgaria as of June 1, 2026. From being raised as missionary kids to serving as missionaries and beginning their own family in Bulgaria, they have dedicated their lives to reaching people around the world with the Gospel.
With less than 2% of evangelicals in Bulgaria, the Driscolls were a bright light for Christ to the Bulgarian people as they offered hospitality, built discipleship relationships, hosted women’s events, led conferences, started Bible studies and sports outreaches, translated Christian literature, and so much more. Their impact on the field will ripple for generations to come as they reached many families with the Gospel.
Clint Morgan, IM’s General Director, close friend, and mentor to the Driscolls, reflects on their ministry:
From the very first time I met Brenton and Debbie when they were students at Welch College, I sincerely felt they were great examples of true disciples. Their love for God, His Word, and His purpose were evident. We were privileged to have them on the IM team in Bulgaria, where they served honorably. But now they are sensing God’s leadership in another direction, and we certainly would not want them to do otherwise. My family has become very close to the Driscolls over the past few years, and their departure from IM for us is doubly painful because we consider them dear friends as well as mission colleagues. Our prayer is for God to continue to clearly direct them and to bountifully bless their ministry wherever He leads.
So many of you have been a part of their impact in Bulgaria, and we want to say, “Thank you!” for faithfully supporting them through these seven years. Their lives have been dedicated to serving the Lord, and we pray God’s continued blessings on their family in their next chapter of life as they faithfully serve Him.
