I am Leandro Galarza, married to Stefania and father of two daughters, Rebeca and Abigail. I live in Rosario, Argentina, and belong to the Free Will Baptist Church Familia de la Gracia.

Thanks to the scholarship fund of the Pop Willey project, I have had the opportunity to access master’s level studies that would otherwise have been completely out of reach due to my financial situation. This support not only opened a door academically but also became part of God’s confirmation for me to dedicate myself to ministry.

Being able to train at this level has been a fundamental step, not only to gain knowledge but also to grow in character, vision, and preparation to better serve others. My local church has undoubtedly benefited from my training, and they have openly expressed how my preaching ministry has blessed them.

Long term, this scholarship is having an impact that goes beyond personal benefits. This preparation has allowed me to participate in the creation of a seminary for the training of ministers and the development of the Free Will Baptist denomination in Argentina. Although our focus was regional in terms of student reach, doors are opening to expand to several countries, from nearby ones like Chile and Paraguay, to the U.S. and Spain.

We trust that the Lord will continue to bless and open doors through these scholarships for the benefit of the kingdom and the glory of God.
