Remembering the Life and Ministry of Fred Warner

IM is saddened by the loss of brother Fred Warner, who went home to be with the Lord on March 10. He faithfully pastored churches in Tennessee, Georgia, and Arkansas, and simultaneously served on the IM board before working 13 years in the IM office, beginning in 1987-2000. During that time, he worked closely with missionaries, strengthening church relationships in stateside development, and played a vital role in sustaining funding levels for both individual missionary ministries and the General Fund.

Fred traveled to mission fields, encouraged missionaries, and faithfully served from the IM office. Known as a passionate evangelist and church planter, he was always eager to share God’s Word and played an important role in connecting the mission of IM with churches across our denomination.

Clint Morgan reflected on his legacy:
“Brother Fred once helped coordinate services and speaking opportunities for missionaries. He was excellent at what he did and was a constant encouragement to them. His passion for lost souls, love for God’s Word, and commitment to ministry were truly exemplary.”

Fred’s burial will take place in Arkansas. Please join us in praying for his family during this time.
