You, or together with your spouse, can serve as a Good News Chapel (Tokyo) Church Planting Team Member with IM on the field in Saitama, Tokyo, Japan. This is a two-year IM opportunity.
- We are looking for a young person or couple to fill this role.
- You will be the bridge between the Good News Chapel church and the local Christian school by volunteering in the school regularly as an English assistant with the purpose of befriending students and providing activities to connect them with the church.
- You would be involved in outreach to people, mainly high school students.
- You will primarily serve alongside Debbie Griffin, Shannon Little, and the Champions.
- You will also assist in English classes that meet at the church, as well as help with social media.

HAN Creative Studios Opportunity in Japan
You, or together with your spouse, can serve as a HAN Creative Studios team member with IM on the field in Tokorazawa, Japan. This is a two-year IM opportunity that will begin in 2027.
- You will work in digital content and media (graphic design, videography, photography, web design, social media, etc.)
- You will help write and edit curriculum/documents.
- You will primarily serve alongside Daniel and Shelby Culwell.
- The Creative Studios team will benefit all IM churches in Japan, not just the Hope Alive Network.

You, or together with your spouse, can serve as an English Teacher with IM on the field in Iriso or Saitama, Japan. This is a short-term IM opportunity.
- You will plan, direct, and teach English and American culture classes.
- You will plan inter-cultural awareness events and direct overseas excursions.
- You will be supervised by missionaries on the field and local church staff will aid in classes.

- You will come alongside existing churches and church plants to assist in worship music, outreach ministries, training believers for evangelism, initiate Gospel choirs, small group Bible studies, and other outreaches.

Church Planting Assistant Opportunity in Sapporo, Japan
You, or together with your spouse, can serve as a Church Planting Assistant with IM on the field in Sapporo, Japan. This is a short-term IM opportunity will the intention that this person could later serve long-term.
- You will come alongside the existing church plant to help teach English conversation classes, attend Japanese language classes in order to gain a basic understanding of Japanese, assist the local church in activities and outreach events, use personal gifts, talents, and interests to connect with people (sports, music, etc.)
- You will work with the Saporro church planting team and work alongside the JFWB churches.

You, or together with your spouse, can serve as a church planting team member with IM on the field in Tokorozawa or Saitama, Japan. This is a short-term IM opportunity.
- You will be involved in outreach to people who speak English that would be interested in studying the Bible in a one-on-one or group setting.
- You will lead English group Bible studies at Hope Alive Church.
- Depending on your strengths and experience, you will assist in leading worship, helping with technology outreach, organizing media for church marketing, children’s ministry, administrative roles, leading small groups, or preaching and teaching in the church.
