Globally: Pray God will fertilize the seeds planted during Christmas services and programs so many people will come to know Christ as Savior as a result of these gospel presentations.
India: Pastor David RajKumar (Free Will Baptist leader in South India) became unconscious while traveling by bus. After remaining unconscious for three days in a local hospital he was transferred to a city hospital where they admitted him immediately. Brother Carlisle Hanna asks, “Please do pray for and ask for prayer for him. He is a very fine man of God and carries a heavy load for Him and for us.”
Creative Access: Pray for Mick and Rachel as they continue to wait for word on their visa approval. Ask God to give them wisdom and patience as they wait. Also pray for their teammate Jenny whose residency card was not issued, due to miscommunication between officials and colleges, within the required time frame. Pray for a calm spirit, trust that God is fully in control, and insight while working through the system.
Stateside: Pray for God to give us a strong financial start to the year. Pray for churches and people who have never supported the Mission to be moved by God to both give and pray. Ask God to give safety to missionaries and office personnel as they travel and share their hearts with churches and groups.
India: Carlisle Hanna is scheduled to leave Tuesday, January 15, for India. Pray for God to give him strength to prepare for the trip and for the long journey itself. Brother Carlisle carries a heavy load in India. Ask God to grant wisdom, energy, discernment, and grace to continue to accomplish all He desires.
Panama: The Panamanian National Association meets this weekend, January 12-13. Ask God to use this time to encourage and strengthen the Panamanian church, continuing to give them unity and vision. Pray for wisdom as a new executive committee is elected. Ask God to guide and use the committee to lead the church in His ways.
Japan: Heath and Joni Hubbard are preparing and loading their container for Japan today and tomorrow (January 9-10). Pray for safety as they load and ask God to allow all their things to arrive secure and undamaged. They and their sons Eli and Micah are scheduled to leave early Wednesday, January 16, for Japan. Pray they will know God’s presence as they travel and see how He has prepared the way for them.
Panama: Pray for Judy Lytle's recuperation and healing following her January 2 Achilles' surgery. Ask God to give her strength and help her comply with surgical restrictions.
Japan: Pray for Ruth McDonald's mother, Leah Postlewaite, as she recuperates from a severe stroke in South Carolina. Ask God to comfort Ruth and help her to know God's presence as she serves in Tokyo. Praise God for the progress Mrs. Postlewaite has made in the last 24 hours.
