STUDENT MISSIONS: Continue to pray for the CMP Brazil team as they conclude their time in Brazil and prepare to return to the States on Sunday evening, May 26 (arriving on Monday). Pray for eyes and hearts to be open to the things God wants to teach them during their 10-day trip. Pray Brazilians will be challenged to draw closer to God because of the lives and witness of these college students.

BRAZIL: Pray for the bi-weekly English Bible study held at the First FWB Church in Campinas. Pray church members will invite unsaved friends interested in learning English to the studies. Ask God to use the studies as a tool to strengthen Christians’ understanding of Scripture, draw non-Christians to Himself, and improve the English skills of attendees.

FRANCE: This weekend, Robert Bryan will conclude his “Training to Serve” workshops for French workers with a session on personal evangelism. Pray the tools and guidance he gives will encourage boldness and strengthen resolve to share the gospel in a difficult environment.

COTE D’IVOIRE: In this past Sunday’s (May 19) service, Pastor Kobenan of the Gouméré FWB Church asked for volunteers to begin an evangelistic outreach in a neighboring village. Praise God for the four women and ten men who accepted the challenge. Ask God to give them strength, unity, perseverance, and health as they follow Him. Praise God also for two salvation decisions (a married couple) the previous week. Ask God to continue to grow His Church in Côte d’Ivoire.

CREATIVE ACCESS: Shane and Joy’s literacy class will have an outing on Friday, May 24. Pray for open doors to share the Good News in this more casual, relaxed atmosphere. Also pray for the open house at the social center on Saturday afternoon (May 25). Pray the Light will shine brightly as new contacts are made in the community and new relationships are formed.

MISSION FAMILY: Keep Norman Richards, former missionary to Côte d’Ivoire, and Geneva Poole, current missionary to Brazil, in your prayers as they undergo new and difficult cancer treatments. Ask God to give strength and grace, and healing if that is His will. Pray for Molly Barker as she prepares for knee replacement surgery on June 4. Also pray for Mirial Gainer (Japan) as she continues to deal with chronic pain from spinal stenosis as well as other physical issues. Pray for opportunities to be witnesses of God’s love and peace through these physical struggles.

CREATIVE ACCESS: Mick and Rachel arrived safely in Spain. Ask God to be with the family as they hunt for an apartment, complete residency paperwork, and readjust to the culture and language. Pray especially for Ian and Keith’s adjustment.

MISSION: Jeff and Susan Turnbough return from Venezuela today, May 22, after conducting a Leadership Matters Course (LMC). Pray for safety of travel and ask God to use the training to strengthen the Church.
