Uruguay: The Melo Church in Rivera, Uruguay, celebrated its 25th anniversary on December 12. Praise God for this congregation. Pray for Pastor Julio Figueroa and the congregation as they work to reach their area with the gospel.
Globally: Praise God for all those who have heard the gospel message through Christmas programs, parties, and events this month. Pray the Word of Life will resonate in their hearts and minds throughout this season and they will seek to understand the true meaning of Christmas.
Panama: On November 28, two students graduated from the Chame Bible institute in Panama. Pray for Alfredo and Danayka Beach as they serve in Panama.
Brazil: Thank God for His provision as Pastor Daniel Gouvêa completed his Master of Theology degree through Word of Life Seminary in Atibaia, Brazil. Pray for him and his family as they plant a new church in Brasilia, the capital of Brazil.
France: Praise God, 18 of Shane and Joy’s students attended the Christmas Carol Service in the main cathedral in Aix. Pray the Light of the World will illuminate their hearts as the words from the songs sink into their minds.
Bulgaria: The New Life FWB Church in Svishtov, Bulgaria, was burglarized last week. Praise God, the alarm apparently startled the thief and he grabbed only an old laptop. Pray the Holy Spirit will convict this burglar and he will seek forgiveness and even salvation.
Côte d’Ivoire: Pastor Samuel Kaibio of the Shalom FWB Church in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, baptized six people on Sunday, December 13. Praise God for these new believers. Pray they will continue to grow in their knowledge and understanding of the Word.
India: Our churches in North India celebrate Christmas the whole month of December. With only 18 pastors and over 300 churches, they have a celebration on every day of the month through December 31. Pray Christ will be glorified in each service.
Globally: As in the States, many people attend activities during the Christmas season who normally will not attend church services. Pray attendees will hear and accept the message of God’s magnificent gift of salvation wrapped in His Child. Pray Christians will clearly demonstrate God’s love, joy, and grace as they interact with those around them. Praise God for those who have already heard the gospel message; pray they will nurture the seeds of Truth and seek Him.
