PANAMA PARTNERSHIP

IM first sent missionaries to Panama in 1962. Because of the faithfulness of God and the spread of the gospel, today, Free Will Baptists have approximately 30 churches and mission churches which are all led by Panamanian leaders! They also operate a Bible Institute in the town of Chame to train leaders for ministry. A Panamanian family serves as missionaries in the country of El Salvador. IM no longer maintains resident missionaries there. However, we do have a partnership with the association of churches to give them the support that they still need in a few areas. The two main areas in which IM participates is through partial subsidy of the expenses of maintaining the Bible Institute and external training programs and the area of helping with some of the new areas they are targeting for church-planting.
