Antioch, Tennessee—Although Dennis and Mary Heath had returned to the States from their ministry in Bulgaria for an extended wellness leave to care for Dennis’ mother as her health declined, they have continued to live with a mission-minded purpose.

During their time in the States, the Heaths remained actively involved in the Free Will Baptist community, attending association meetings, camps, the National Convention, Bible classes, and other Free Will Baptist and IM mission events. They also enjoyed time with fellow missionaries and teammates, continuing to encourage and fellowship with others along the way.

The Heaths have been especially involved at Stonewall Free Will Baptist Church in Oklahoma, where they have poured into the congregation while also allowing the church family to care for and encourage them during a difficult season. Their willingness to serve wherever they are reflects their continued commitment to the Gospel and to the Body of Christ.

Following the loss of Dennis’ mother and a meaningful season of time with family and friends, the Heaths are now looking forward to returning to their ministry in Bulgaria. “We are beyond excited that we are returning to Bulgaria! There is so much work to be done, and our desire to share the love of Jesus beckons us to continue to serve,” they shared.
