Bulgaria

  • Tim & Lydia Awtrey – Praise God for a great turnout to our discussion on “God versus Science – An Artificially Created Conflict” by Professor Todor Velchev. We had over one hundred in attendance and filled city hall for this meeting. Please pray that the people who attended this meeting will take part in a Bible study we will begin next week for non-believers. Pray that they will come to know Jesus.
  • Josh Provow – Please pray for the different towns and villages where we currently have outreaches. On Saturdays, we have a Bible club for kids in the Muslim village of Vehtovo and then we have a Bible study for adults. Next month we will be launching a second Bible club in the nearby town of Kaspichan. On Sundays, we have regular church services in the city of Shumen and the town of Novi Pazar. Please pray for strength and wisdom!
  • Trif & Vanya Trifonov – Please pray for a good attendance at the seminar on How to Study the Bible this weekend. Pray that more people would join our Bible study group(s) and commit to studying the Bible on their own.

Ecuador

  • Adam & Carol Duncan – Continue to pray for us as we develop relationships with our neighbors and those we meet in town. Pray for our continued language development and the kids’ schooling.

Japan

  • Rusty & Brenda Carney – Praise God for the wonderful Game Night we had at KCC this past Friday evening! We had around 33 people there, with three of those being fathers from the Mommy & Me English class. It was so great to meet them and get to know them better through playing games. Please pray all these families would come to know Jesus in a profound way. Please also pray with us that we would see six baptisms. Out of faith, we are calling the last Sunday in March “Baptism Sunday”. Although no one has expressed interest in being baptized yet, please pray the Holy Spirit would move on the hearts of those who might be ready. Also, I praise the Lord for Brenda as today, Wednesday (January 25), is her birthday!

Pakistan

  • Kenneth Eagleton – Please pray for God’s Love FWB Church as they are still working on their church building and are not able to meet in person. They are losing members due to this. Pray that they will get the funds they need to get it to a point in which they can meet again.

USA

  • Tyler & Kellie Penn – Pray for the safety of travel as we continue to travel all around the states, sharing about international students.  Pray for a good start to the spring semester. Pray that the students we connected with last semester will further their relationships with us this semester.
  • Steve & Lori Torrison – Please pray for the new trainees at CIT to have open hearts for learning, and for Steve and the other trainers to communicate clearly through the power of the Holy Spirit.

General Director of IM, Inc.

  • Clint Morgan – Praise the Lord for the training time with our new interns last week. Once again we rejoice in the great spiritual quality of those coming to serve as missionaries with IM.
  • Lynette and I are leaving next Wednesday for a trip to Cote d’Ivoire. I will be teaching Bible Doctrine to about 35 church leaders. Please pray for the safety of travel and for His direction in the classes. Lynette will be doing some translation for a doctor addressing the health challenges African women face.
  • Please pray for Lynette, who will be having rotator cuff surgery on March 1.
