Bulgaria

  • Brenton & Debbie Driscoll – We praise God for the opening of the community center for Ukrainian refugees in Shumen on Monday, April 4!

Ecuador

  • Adam & Carol Duncan – Continue to pray for our language learning and for opportunities to share the hope of Easter. In Quito, where we are in language school, many are non-practicing Catholics but may be more open to matters of faith as we approach Semana Santa (Holy Week). Pray also for the many people in poverty that we see every day.

France

  • Bryson Foulks – Please pray for me as I preach and present my future ministry at Union FWB Church (Chuckey, TN) this Wednesday night (April 6) and then travel back to Ohio for a WMO Banquet on Saturday night (April 9). I will also be sharing at Compassion Church in Ashland, OH Sunday morning (April 10).

India

  • Don Hanna – We praise the Lord for the many who have followed Christ in this past year, approximately 700! These will be celebrating Good Friday and Easter for the first time. We have Good Friday services in India and observe the Lord’s Supper and feet washing which is a very meaningful time. Please pray for a special blessing during this time. Rejoice with us! Inflation has hit India very hard and all of our workers are finding it difficult to live on their current salaries. Please pray that the Lord will supply to allow us to at least give a living wage and that He would give us wisdom in dealing with this.

Japan

  • Doug & Miriam Bishop – Praise that we were able to get all of our certificate of eligibility documents submitted in Japan, and they will be processed this week. Once we receive the certificate by mail, we will be able to get visas for Hazel and Linus. Pray that all will go smoothly! Also, Miriam had an emergency dental surgery on Friday and is still recovering. Pray that she would feel well soon.

Spain

  • Chris & Tori – Please pray for Tori as she takes her driving exam on Thursday. Also, pray for us as we get to help many Ukrainian refugees as they arrive in southern Spain. Please also remember our friends during this time of fasting and spiritual focus. Pray that they would encounter the Truth.
  • Tim & Kristi Johnson – We are thankful for the opportunity to serve as “Missionaries in Residence” this year at Welch College. This week students are being challenged by an intensive course called “Contextualization: Conformity Without Compromise”, taught by IM Director, Clint Morgan. Pray that their time together will challenge students to consider how they can share the Gospel in a way that is relevant to the various cultures they will come in contact with around the world.
  • Josh & Bethany – Please pray for us as we are on day six of sickness. Georgia and Bethany are starting to get better but Grayson is still pretty sick. Also, please pray for Bethany’s mom as she is currently very sick and in the hospital.
  • Anthony & Lea Edgmon – Thanks for your prayers for Anthony during his surgery last Thursday. His follow-up visit with the doctor showed that his recovery is going well.  He will continue to wear a cast on his right arm for two more weeks and then wear a brace after that. Please continue to pray for his complete recovery and relief from pain.

Mission Family

  • Pray for our expecting missionary families: Daniel and Kate Speer (Japan), Jonathan and Michelle Chereau (France), and Sam and Lauren Riggs (Spain). Pray the babies will grow and mature as expected.
  • Pray for former missionaries struggling with a variety of health problems: Brother Carlisle Hanna (India), Jerry and Carol Pinkerton (Ivory Coast), Bobby and Sue Aycock (Brazil), Florine Coscia (Brazil), Ledgel and Sharon Ferguson (Ivory Coast and France), Glenda Fulcher (Uruguay and Panama), Mirial Gainer (Japan), Barb Haas (France), Sherwood and Vada Lee (Ivory Coast),  Amy Robinson (Uruguay), Tom Willey, Jr. (Cuba & Panama), and Don Robirds (Brazil, IM office).
