IM, Inc. News Release – Looking Toward the Future with Joy

Antioch, TN – The IM Board met on December 5-6, with some members in person and others joining in by Zoom. In their time together, they were able to express joy over and over as new missionaries were appointed to service, unprecedented ministry endeavors were created, and current efforts were highlighted.

Neil Gilliland, Director of Mobilization, speaks of his excitement about the future of IM. “As we step into this season of joy, the Father continues to call and Free Will Baptist young people continue to respond to His call to reach beyond the borders of the United States. Be encouraged!”

Five new IM missionaries were approved to serve around the world:

·      Bradley Mercer from Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina, will be working with International Students at the University of Missouri.

·      Callie Stox, a native of Greenville, North Carolina, is joining the Hope Alive team in Tokyo, Japan.

·      Tristen and Sierra White, currently living in Oklahoma, will also work in Tokyo, Japan, with the Hope Alive ministry.

·      Jace Dixon, originally from Haskell, Oklahoma, was appointed to France, where he’ll be working in the Nantes area.

Clint Morgan shares his commitment to those who were granted career status by the Board. “IM’s internship program has proven to be a great success. This can be said because the vast majority of those going through the two-year internship on one of our existing fields have made long-term career commitments. We are truly thankful for the amazingly gifted and committed people God is sending to serve with IM.”

·      Keren Delgado, originally from Cuba, has been appointed to minister in Madrid, Spain.

·      Jonathan and Michelle Chereau, national missionaries in France, will be returning to France in their role as church planters.

Jaimie and Tammy Lancaster submitted their resignations as missionaries, after serving faithfully in Uruguay. Jaimie will now be helping Dr. Kenneth Eagleton as the Assistant Director of Field Partnerships.

Ruth McDonald’s resignation was received as she is now entering into a new ministry as the Director of WNAC. Donnie McDonald, who will continue on as a missionary, will be serving as the Field Ministry Personnel Associate, where he will be working alongside Curt Holland.

The board adopted an operational budget of $8.8M and an all-inclusive budget of $14.75M including IMpact and other specific projects.

Join us in expressing our JOY over how God is working throughout the world and leading new missionaries to fields that are white unto harvest.

IM exists to labor with the Body of Christ to fulfill the Great Commission.
