Bangladesh

  • Kenneth Eagleton– Pray for our churches as they face administrative challenges from authorities.

Bulgaria

  • Brenton & Debbie Driscoll– We officially booked our plane tickets for September 24! Please pray for us as we pack and get ready for our trip to the States.
  • Jonathan & Amy Postlewaite– Students from all over Bulgaria and from other countries have been arriving in Pleven recently to start or resume their studies at the medical university. Please be praying that our church will have a greater impact among this community throughout this year.
  • Josh Provow– September 15 is the first day of school in Bulgaria. Please pray for our seven MKs who are in the public school system, as well as the many students and teachers in our five churches. For many of them, they are the only Christ followers in their classes.
  • Trif & Vanya Trifonov-Praise God for the National Conference and the International Fellowship of Free Will Baptist Churches which were held last week in Tryavna, Bulgaria. We were encouraged to hear what the Lord is doing and had a great time with all the pastors and guests from eight countries with FWB churches. Please pray for more workers on the field and for us to continue the good work in spite of opposition and even persecution in some places.

Ecuador

  • Adam & Carol Duncan– The 90-day peace agreement ends in one month. There have been a few small protests this week; please pray for compromises to be reached. Continue to pray for our language learning and relationships with our professors.

France

  • David & Myriam Reeves– Our family will be moving into our new house next week; please pray for this busy time and for all the last preparations.

Japan

  • Ken & Judy Bailey– Overseas Apprentice Ben Barcroft presented a special music concert at Kamifukuoka Christ Church on September 11, and the event was also livestreamed. An unsaved young man Ben met during his travels in Japan attended the KCC concert, and some of the unsaved English and Bible Class members watched the livestream, along with several others. Pray that Ben’s testimony through this concert and his time spent in Japan will see many seek Christ and turn to him. Pray for Ben as he returns to the States this week.
  • Shannon Little– Three weeks from today, I will be on a plane headed back to Japan!  While I am super excited about leaving, I am almost equally sad.  The goodbyes are being said, the bags are being packed, and for every one thing I cross off my “to do” list, I feel like I am adding three!  Please pray for all of the transitions, that I will be able to say goodbye well, and for the two services I still have on my calendar before I leave.  Also please pray for my mom as she will be by herself again.
  • Daniel & Kate Speer– It has been over a year of support raising and we are still in the US, traveling and seeking financial partners for our first career term. Please pray with us that the Lord will move mightily in providing for our last remaining financial needs and that we will be able to return to Japan this November if possible.

Pakistan

  • Kenneth Eagleton– Pray for the church in Lahore as they are erecting a church building. In the meantime, they are meeting in a house that is much too small for them, with most of the people having to sit in the street. They are very exposed.

Panama

  • Kenneth Eagleton– Pray for several new groups that are still small and do not have a good place to meet. Pray for the seminary with its extension studies.

Partnerships

  • Kenneth Eagleton – Praise the Lord for a successful International Fellowship meeting in Bulgaria with representatives from nine countries participating.

Spain

  • Manu & Noemi (THP) – Levy started at a new school; pray for him. Pray for us as we deal with all the changes we are having now in our new house, it’s a lot of work and paperwork.
  • Sam & Lauren Riggs – We have two major appointments next week. On September 20, we have an appointment with the US Embassy to receive Theo’s birth abroad birth certificate, and we are also hoping to apply for his US passport at the same time. Then on September 22, we have an appointment to pick up Lauren’s residency card. This appointment has been in the works for over a year. We have been working, stressing, and planning for this appointment since before the summer of 2021. Please pray for us this week as we are preparing for both appointments by gathering all the necessary documents and making multiple copies of everything. Pray we will have an empathetic government worker and will be able to receive all the needed documents with no problems.

  • Pray for our expecting missionary family: Doug and Miriam Bishop (Japan). Pray the baby will grow and mature as expected.
  • Pray for former missionaries struggling with a variety of health problems: Brother Carlisle Hanna (India), Jerry and Carol Pinkerton (Ivory Coast), Bobby and Sue Aycock (Brazil), Florine Coscia (Brazil), Ledgel and Sharon Ferguson (Ivory Coast and France), Glenda Fulcher (Uruguay and Panama), Mirial Gainer (Japan), Barb Haas (France), Sherwood and Vada Lee (Ivory Coast),  Amy Robinson (Uruguay), Tom Willey, Jr. (Cuba & Panama), and Don Robirds (Brazil, IM office).
